In the framework of the ordinary general congress of CPJ on May 26, 2021, the new Executive Committee was appointed for the period 2021-2025, where the only list presented was elected.
The election was carried out via zoom where there was a participation of 31 federations of the 34 that make up the Pan American Judo Confederation, likewise in this congress the report of activities for the year 2020 - 2021 of the sports commissions was also presented, education, referee and communication, as well as financial statements by the CPJ treasurer.
The new Executive Committee is made up of:

• Secretary: Mike Tamura Canada
• Treasurer: José Porfirio Puerto Rico
• Director of arbitration: Ovidio Garnero Argentina
• Director of education; Katiuska Santaella Venezuela
• Sports director: Amadeus Dias de Moura Jr Brazil
• Development Director: Rafael Manso Cuba
• Administrative Director: Jose H Rodriguez USA
In his first words as president of the CPJ Carlos Zegarra said “Representing in the best way with a post and a go yielded with our friend, companion for life Manuel Larrañaga, is a very special moment for me, for my family, for my friends. For the people who are going to accompany me and we are going to work together in this new executive committee, it is a great challenge really because we are in a very complicated health time and having dared to hold events, having dared to be movement only speaks of love purer than we have all of us who make up this executive committee for judo as well as you dear presidents and delegates. I not only have promises, I also have convictions, not only do I have concrete actions without regrets and I start from a conceptual framework that is teamwork ”.
